What to expect?
A Brand-New Adventure Every Week
Every week, campers step into a new world. Ages 7–10 become cyber ninjas, secret agents, storm chasers and runway designers, while ages 4–6 time-travel, explore glowing oceans, guard fairy gardens and hunt for pirate treasure.
Each theme blends dance technique in hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, ballet and modern with theme games, props and low-mess crafts, and every session ends with a short in-studio showcase. Every camper gets their moment to shine!

All Summer Dance Camps
Mornings, Afternoons or Full Days
Full day = Morning + Afternoon in the same week. Mix-and-match = buy multiple Half-Day Passes or the 5-Session Pass.
Any single morning (9am–12pm) or afternoon (1pm–4pm) session that week.
Morning + Afternoon for the same week, theme and age group.
5 half-days, any combination of mornings and afternoons across the summer. Expires end of August.

Neon Ninja Cyber Dojo
Glow-in-the-dark martial-arts-meets-hip-hop, lightsaber-style props, neon face paint, cyber-warrior showcase.
Mythic Creatures Academy
Dragons, phoenixes, mermaids & unicorns in powerful contemporary + jazz. Scale props, wing crafts, mythical creature runway.
Spy Kids Undercover
Stealth jazz, code-breaking games, gadget props, secret-agent missions, undercover showcase with a “mission accomplished” reveal.
Robot Rebellion
Sharp robot + isolations hip-hop, LED wristbands, circuit-board crafts, “robots take over the stage” performance.
Storm Chasers
Weather-powered contemporary (lightning leaps, tornado spins, thunder stomps), storm-cloud props, dramatic lighting showcase.
Galaxy Raiders
Space opera jazz/hip-hop hybrid, zero-gravity illusions, holographic props, intergalactic battle showcase.
Shadow Puppet Theater
Dramatic modern + storytelling through silhouette dance, shadow props, black-light storytelling performance.
Future Fashion Runway
High-fashion contemporary with wearable art, runway walks mixed with dance, designer showcase.
Echo Chamber
Experimental sound-reactive dance (dance to live or recorded beats they help create), echo props, immersive sound-and-movement show.
For Ages 4 to 6
Tiny Time Travelers
Jump through decades with dance (80s breakdance, 90s hip-hop, future robot moves), time-machine crafts, “portal” finale.
Bubble & Bounce Kingdom
Giant bubbles, bounce-house energy dances, floating scarves, bubble-machine finale under rainbow lights.
Ocean Glow Explorers
Bioluminescent sea creatures, underwater ballet & modern, glowing jellyfish props, black-light ocean party.
Candy Land Crush
Sweet-themed creative movement, giant lollipop props, sprinkle crafts, sugar-rush parade.
Fairy Garden Guardians
Magical fairy/elf dances, flower crowns, wand-making, enchanted garden finale.
Dinosaur Disco
Prehistoric party with T-Rex stomps, pterodactyl wings, fossil crafts, dino disco under UV lights.
Rainbow Riot
Color-explosion creative movement, paint-splatter (washable) crafts, rainbow tunnel finale.
Pirate Treasure Hunt
Swashbuckling jazz, treasure-map crafts, pirate ship obstacle course, gold-coin finale.
Cloud Nine Dreamers
Soft, floaty ballet/modern on “clouds,” pillow forts turned into dance spaces, dreamy cloud parade.
Schedule
A Day at Summer Camp
Each morning (9:00 am – 12:00 pm) or afternoon (1:00 pm – 4:00 pm) follows the same fun, high-energy rhythm:
Arrival & Warm-Up (15 minutes)
Campers are welcomed with energetic theme-based games and a quick introduction to the day’s adventure.
Dance Time (60 minutes)
The heart of the session! Campers learn technique and the main choreography of the week, broken into short, engaging sections with water breaks.
Snack & Create (20 minutes)
A healthy snack plus a simple, low-mess craft. Campers make a prop or costume piece they’ll use in the final showcase.
More Movement & Play (50 minutes)
We keep dancing, add formations, play theme-related games, and start polishing the routine.
Showcase Prep & Performance (30 minutes)
Final run-throughs, props on, and a short in-studio showcase for families in the last few minutes of class. Every camper gets their moment to shine!
Important information!
Camp Rules & Policy
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Full payment is required to finalize your reservation
- Reservation changes (switching weeks) are allowed no later than 30 days before the first reserved session’s start date and incur a $50 fee.
- If you want to cancel your reservation after making a full payment, make sure to contact us at least 30 days before your start date; you will receive an 80% refund to your card, and 20% refund as store credit for future use.
- Late cancellations (within 30 days of session start date) will receive a 60% refund.
- No refunds or credits for missed days, including illness-related absences.
- A $25 processing fee applies for tax documentation and receipt preparation
- If service cancellation is performed by the Salsa With Silvia studio, a full refund will be issued unless such cancellation is caused by a force majeure such as a war, strike, riot, crime, epidemic or an event described by the legal term act of God, preventing the Studio from fulfilling its obligations under the contract.
- In the event a child presents symptoms of illness (e.g., fever), we reserve the right to dismiss them to protect other campers and staff. Parents will be promptly notified to arrange pickup. We ask parents to refrain from sending their child/children to camp if they are exhibiting contagious symptoms (e.g., flu, COVID, seasonal colds). No refund or credit will be issued for missing camp days due to illness.
Studio Rules & Camp Dismissal
- Campers may be dismissed for behavior issues, including disruptive or unsafe conduct, lack of interest, or disregard for camp rules. In such cases, a child can be dismissed after three written warnings for disruptive behavior, no refund / pro-rate will be issued.
- These apply, but not limited to, the following circumstances: Continuous disruptive and violent behavior, pushing, hitting, spitting, offending other campers, being disrespectful to teachers, staff and other campers, continuously disobeying instructors, trying to stay separated from the group, pulling and playing with curtains, hanging off ballet barres, not following instructions, demonstrating continuous lack of interest for activities offered in the camp, or disturbing and distracting other campers.
- We want your child to have fun and if they seem not to be interested in the various activities that we offer, then we’ll advise searching other types of camps (sports, etc.).
Dismissal Process
- We will start by talking to the child and of course talking to the parents/guardians. We will write and give you incident reports. We will dismiss your child from camp after the third written report.
Refunds Due To Dismissal
- If you receive three warnings and your child is dismissed, we will not pro-rate or refund the rest of the camp enrollment fees.

We stand for top quality, safety, care and fun! The Salsa With Silvia dance studios are located in Washington, DC and in Bethesda, MD. If you are looking for the best dance classes and the best summer camp programs, you have found the right place! We are proud to offer wonderful recreational dance classes and camp programs for children.
Our dance classes for kids include styles like: Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, Latin dance, Creative Movement, Mommy and Me and more. We offer group and private in person dance classes for children as well as virtual group and private lessons.
Our camp programs are bilingual learning programs with focus on dance. Students are constantly engaged in age appropriate learning activities including reading, writing, math, science, arts and crafts and more. In addition to summer camps, we also offer one day and one week camps (Winter and Spring) on days and weeks when DCPS schools are closed.
Our baby dance classes are super fun and engaging. They are designed to help young children with motor skill development and prepare them for future dance and music classes.
