Performers must respect each other’s space and property in the dressing rooms. Coloring books and legos will be provided for the performers to do some activities while in the dressing rooms. No food is allowed in the dressing rooms. Bring ONLY a water bottle for your child. We will provide gold fish for snack.

Students are welcome to bring something to do while they wait. Please do not send crayons, markers, pens or anything else that could ark or stain the costumes.

Please refrain from sending valuable items, as we will not be responsible for any loss.  This includes cell phones, iPods, tablets, etc.

Audience Etiquette

All audience will be let in through the front entrance of the auditorium (located by the stage). All audience must have taken their seats no later than 3:20pm. Late arrivals will be directed to the back entrance of the auditorium and will have to watch the show from the back of the auditorium to avoid disruption. Exiting the auditorium during the show will not be permitted unless an emergency. Exiting the auditorium during the show will be allowed only through the back entrance.

Enthusiastic applause is encouraged; however, we ask that you don’t raise your voice to call your child’s name during a performance.

No cell phone use allowed during the show. The light from these devices is very distracting to other audience members.

Because we present a professional performance, we ask that everyone remain seated during the entire performance. Allowing children to run round or otherwise disrupt the show is not fair to other audience members.

Backstage Rules & Etiquette

Family members and friends are not permitted backstage or in the dressing rooms during dress rehearsals or the recital. During dress rehearsal, parents/guardians can stay at the building’s library or leave and come back for the show.

Students will remain backstage for the duration of the entire recital, and no performing students will be allowed in the audience at any time. After the finale, students will be checked out from the prep classrooms to their parent/guardian. Performers will receive their graduation certificates when they return to their prep classroom after they have performed.
